Baby, It's Cold outside!
I was working on a cute ba tutie card. This one came out so sweet. Tis the season. It seems so innocent but we all know that it turns into this frenzy of shopping and stress and ugliness. I just hope that everyone takes a deep breath and remember why we do it. Have a great day! Also, Check out Mercy's sketch for this week.

Your my pretty princess.
I was playing with a new technique and I have to say that it is very time consuming. On the fence about it. I have to say that I am pretty much instant gratification so I am not sure it it going to work. Will give it another shot though. The technique is with the Glitter Ritz system.
Die cutting sticker paper and then applying it to CS and then peeling the sticker off and adding the glitter (rub it in, dust it off and continue). I just happened to do it with the MFT flower and jeeze it was a project. I pretty much did this card around the flower.

I love you!
I wasn't sure how this one was going to come out and I have to say that It came out awesome. Still having issues to how my camera shoots to a flat object. A work in progress. I did a couple of different techniques here. I wanted to make a peice of wood like out of paper. which of course looks totally different here that the real thing. Anyways, I took a piece of paper, and swiped it with brown dauber and let dry, then swipe again with white school glue- let dry and then over it again with a white dauber ( happen to grab the wrong one which was a pearl. and had to touch it up with the brown again. to hide some of that shimmer Happy accident I guess). Then I could die cut it.

Happy Anniversary!
I was blog hopping and I came across this layout...well not exactly. I found a similair butterfly called the Artists Butterfly and it was on the Hero Arts blog. I just love this card. I had to copy it I used the butterfly that I had which is butterflies 3 images. I tried to do the feathering technique here but with my camera it doesn't show the feather. Just where they end. It really is blended quite nicely. It kind of look choppy here. I am going to give this card to my In-Laws. They have been married 59 years tomorrow. Congrats you two! Many more! I will work on the blending and the camera thing.
