Joy is in the Air!

Well tis the season and it is off to a good start. I think that people are definately thinking twice about buying to buy. Really think about what is going on and not going crazy this Christmas season. I know I am. Things are especially tight this year. I am going to make most of my gifts with the talents that I use all the time and I think that it will be MORE special to receive a homemade gift than a tacky something or other that you'll never use or wanted. So Use what you have girls.
Anyways, I went on the CHF blog and was scrolling around and came across a similar card and loved the layout so I stamplifted this great layout. I hope you like it.

Yikes Spiders!

Here was another card that we did in class. Very exciting for witch is halloween coming up. Another great card for the embossing class. This was the dry embossing using the Big kick and then taking chalk or pigment and smearing it on the embossed areas. It was your preference which technique to use.

Stamps: Unknown foam HH, SU! Batty for you Paper: Black, white, green galore Ink: White pigment, black Accessories: Cuttle bug- spidy, CM circle punch, ribbon, scalloped circle punch, pop dots, hemp CM corner punch, make up applicator for ink to web

Creepy!

Getting ready for the spooky time of year. I just love Halloween. What great costumes the kids come up with. I will be one of those big kids. I am going to dress up this year. I can't wait.
This is a great set. I just had a class on fall cards. This is one of the cards that we made involving embossing and using the heat gun. Very Neat. The pcx here doesn't give it justice that there are black spiders stamped on the backdground of the eggplant cs and layered with black.
Deets:
Stamps: SU! From the Crypt, Holiday best Paper: Black, Elegant eggplant, white Ink: Black pigment, elegant eggplant Accessories: Sponge, xl oval punch, hole punch, clear rhinestone brads, distressing tool for edges, pop dots

Happy Easter

Back by popular demand. I did a card similar for a challenge (*of course) a while back. A few girls saw it and asked if I would show it in one of my classes coming up. What is better than showing it but doing it right. I am still not convinced that this card is finished. I feel that it is missing something. If you can see something it needs let me know?
I thought that this would be a great card to do in my class coming up next week. It will fit the theme.... Glitter / Easter.

Deets:

Stamp set: PSX retired K-2276/ 1997. MFT Essential sentiments Accessories: Big Top note, Sizzix leaf, MS leaf punch, Flower punch, Primas, Nesties, Copic mkrs, Glitter, Atou spica pens,Dew drops mowed grass, window punch, popdots Ink: Black, Garden green Paper: Creme, white, DCWV nana's nursery

I tried a new technique learned in copic class too. I scribbled randomly on paper with the yellow, green and bits of orange, I then took Blender on a rag and dabbed it on the random colors then I punched them with the flower punch. It gives it a really cool look and then all blend together. Very cool Try it and if you think of it link it back to me your projects.. Would love to see them. Have fun!
