Happy Birthday Mom!

I just finished this card for my Mother in Law. Her birthday is next week. She is absolutely GAGA over sunflowers. I know that she will love it. Her hubs and sons want to surprise her for her big day. She is very difficult to pull one over on. Best of luck Boys in doing that. She is in tuned to everyone feelings and she is so going to pick up on anything out of the ordinary and esp plotting the big deal.. Staytuned for that saga.

I took a class this week with Mitra from Impression Obsession. We worked with the background stamps. What fun did I have. I have to start looking outside the box. I really want to learn to distress and change things but still look classy. Mitra really explained that theory and made it really fun to play with her backgrounds.

Spring is in the air. I have been very busy the last few days. Mostly trying to catch up on all the things that I have blown off in the office. Coming up with cards for the upcoming classes. I just really wanted to play in here all day. Well I think that I was very successful.

I was playing around with some different colors and I just love the Hawaiian colors. I also took the Copics to the flowers. Very fun to do. That is one great thing about having white flowers and Copics you can color them to match your project.

I just love this new technique. The alcohol ink's are just wild. You can make a ton of things from backgrounds to main images. A great class ( I will certainly be doing this technique in my classes!) Anyways, very very cool

Butterflies and Angels

How beautious is this card. I was playing with the alcohol inks from Tim Holtz and did the polished stone technique. Very cool project I think that I will give this card to my neighbor's son. His Mom just passed away this week. Now she is a butterfly and can fly away!

Butterfly Kisses

I made this for my DH for our upcoming anniversary. He alway did the butterfly kisses with Emily when she was a baby. I know that he'll remember that when I give it to him. Of course I will put something very sappy inside. I did get a little crazy with popping I popped the butterflies and put the clear Atyou Spica all over it. (pxc doesn't do it justice).
