This is why I'm not creating......I'm Healing!

This is the reason that I haven't been on this week. I have been thanking my lucky stars and recuperating. I am lucky and a little banged up but I will live. I was getting on the highway and the next thing I know I am getting rear ended. and I bounce into the next lane and then get hit again and end up on the other side of the road and down the embankment and into a couple of trees.

Your the Bomb baby!

OMG! Got enough bling on there! I have never used so much. anyways Your worth it!. I made this card for my neighbor. He is always bailing us out when something breaks. When the snow blower wouldn't start, he did the driveway with his plow. and always getting us out of a pickle and WON'T except anything in return...(I know someone else like that! HUM! you know who I'm talking about?). So my DH and I decided that a
D&D gift card would be great. So the inside which I forgot to take a pcx is a pocket in grass and the gift card in there. Very cute. The DH really WOW d him when he got the card... Anyways,

Deets:

Stamps: Riley Moose, KKS sentiments Paper: Real red, Creamy caramel, DP, Wild wasabi, Neenah Ink: Black, Shell pink Accessories: A whole lot of Bling, Nesties, Copic mkrs, MS grass punch, Label punch, Pop dots, Mono ( inside was the zig zag punch and grass punch)

Winter Bliss!

Well this definately didn't line up the way I wanted. Whatever! I just wanted to show you the first snow storm in Connecticut on Saturday December, 5,2009. I thought for sure that I was going to be called into work. Lucky I guess. It came down and then the roads were clear. Beautiful how all the snow was on the tree's/ branches. We had another storm on Monday morning which left a hefty deposit of snow. Working that day so no Pcx. I went into work in the dark and came home in the dark. The trees were bare the next day. Not a pretty storm either. We had 4-6 inches of snow here and other places around CT had none and 2-4 inches. Bizzare. It was pretty anyways.

Butterfly Kisses

I made this for my DH for our upcoming anniversary. He alway did the butterfly kisses with Emily when she was a baby. I know that he'll remember that when I give it to him. Of course I will put something very sappy inside. I did get a little crazy with popping I popped the butterflies and put the clear Atyou Spica all over it. (pxc doesn't do it justice).
Very Sparkly

Wow!

I was watching TV during a storm we had and all of a sudden it all stopped and the sun came out. Really Earry looking (Like twister weather) So, we all went outside to see the sun out only on the tops of some trees and we saw a beautiful Rainbow. It was so beautiful and then I looked really close and saw a second rainbow. What are the chances of that. I just had to wish on it and take some pictures. I know in Connecticut we are all getting a little sick of rain and terrible days. It is suppose to be summer and it is now July and we really haven't had any summer lazy days.

You look like you need a Kiss!

I could just Kiss you. I have to say when it rains it pours... Literally in the bedroom. I woke to DRIP,DRIP,DRIP and thought OMG Not again. its going to be R.I.P,R.I.P R.I.P to the poor husband that has to go on the roof to try and fix it. and hope to god that he doesn't get hurt or fall off. and get all that ice off the roof. Long...story. but, when we made our addition. On the house the roof is one way and the new addi- roof is the other way. So, the house roof melts and slides down and lands on the other roof. That snow sits and then freezes. It pushed up the shingles and wicked down the beams and came through the addition (new light fixtures.) Lovely right.... The boys went up on the roof and fixed it as best they could. and well three snow storms later. Its a real mess up there. Now it is wicking all over and coming in the BR. The ice hasn't melted and now it is almost 50 out and guess what... Drip, drip drip. I told the poor guy and thought he was going to go off the deep end. I can't go up there and fix it right.... Next best thing... Make him a card. He really liked it and told him to not worry about it right now. Mind you we are having a house full of people today for DD 9th BDAY. Yeah! right. You know men Just sit there and sulk and worry about things that you cant fix, change or do anything about right this very second. So why get all worked up about it.... worry about it for another day. So Bequiet and enjoy the card I made you. Anyways here are the deets to this nice card.

Save the Date!

How Cool is this.! I admire everyone who is a care giver and a by stander that has to endure watching loved ones fade away with this terrible disease Alzheimers. I am a caregiver everyday. I am a nurse in a healthcare facility. I work on a Sub acute Rehab unit but I also work on a Dementia Unit. These people are amazing. I love everyone of them as if they were my grand parents. Even know some of them have no minds left they still are people and are full of love. I love their stories and the funny things they say. I try to help them anyway I can to make their last days pleasent and filled with my love.... even if they do have a clue who I am. Please be educated on this terrible disease. You can volunteer, educate your self ... Take a stand!!! Check our Alzheimer Website ALZ.org

Heres to you Doc!

I just wanted to thank the Dentist for taking me in to check my mouth. I fractured a tooth and my appointment wasn't until Thursday (today) when I broke it on Tuesday. The dentist was out of the office (playing golf) and dropped the clubs and came into work to fixit. To make a long story short it was the second time (his day off) that he resued me. so I made him this thank you card. It looks really flat her but trust me it is popped to the hilt. You know me and Pop dots. It came out very nice.
