You Make my life Sweet!
Yup! You said it Rainbow... Now that is an Ice cream. On these Hot days. The temp. has reached up to 109 in some spots around Connecticut this week. A little side note... Had to laugh yesterday. My daughter begged me to get her Ice cream. We went to the store which is about 15 minutes away. got the Ice cream and ran to the car. Put it in a cooler so it wouldn't be soup by the time we got home and realized that its a 109 degrees outside. What are the chances to get home and not have soup.....laughing because of the exerp from Forrest gump... We can make.... Soup pancakes, soup salad, soup cake, soup sandwiches. all out of the melted icecream... shes's 11, what do you want. it was funny at the time. Still laughing over it! :)

I Love you!.. You make a difference!
I am starting to work on my card swap cards before I go back to school. I know that I will be jammed and therefore having a little time now I thought that I would work on them. This is the August collection which we had to make a birthday card. the challenging technique this month is using your initials of your name come up with your design. My initials are "L and S" so I came up with Sunflower, color lemon, and Speckled.

Spinner Card!
Spinner card it is.
With the new Die-Namic from MFT called Pinwheel and stamp set I decided to make a spinner card. I think it came out very cool. I decided on purpose not to use double sided paper to add some contrast to the such dark colors. The white pulls everything together. The technique is easy peasy.
All you need is two pennies and pop dots with a window punch and spin away!
First you make your spinner. second, adhere with a glue dot to the center of the back of the spinner a penny. Put two pop dots on the back ( The SU! pop dot work the best their circular). Then punch on your paper with the window punch and lay that mechanism on it and flip it over and put the penny on top of it and watcher slide back and forth. With that panel you have to pop that so that the whole flat mechanism has room to move. PS. The sample with the window is my boo boo card please don't mind the smudging of the sentiment. I threw this one out. Thanks :)

Thanks Gram!
I just made this little cutey for my Grandmother. She has been a god send to let me use her car until I get a new one mine died last week in a crash..... Believe it or not she is 92 years old and hasn't driven in a year or so but still has the car and maintains it and puts gas, cleans it starts it up once a week to see if it runs and believe it still pays the insurance on it. My Mom almost had her convinced that she wants her to give it up and boom I have my accident and now I am using it. I just love her. Thanks gram.

Wishing you Loads of happiness
My nephew is moving to San Diego in a few weeks and his father is throwing a little going away picnic for him. I made him this card and gave him a gift bag filled with candy, chocolate, chips, slim jims, capri sun drinks and some other junk for eats on the way out there....They are driving. That should keep them busy for a while. I hope that he has a safe fun trip. Best of luck my friend.

This is why I'm not creating......I'm Healing!
This is the reason that I haven't been on this week. I have been thanking my lucky stars and recuperating. I am lucky and a little banged up but I will live. I was getting on the highway and the next thing I know I am getting rear ended. and I bounce into the next lane and then get hit again and end up on the other side of the road and down the embankment and into a couple of trees.
