Bloomin Babies!

My Neice is having a baby and she doesn't know what she is going to have.
I was initially stumped and couldn't come up with a decent card for babies, then I had a Duh! Ding, Ding, Ding moment when I used the button to the center. I thought that I would do something a little different to these babies. I made them flowers. It was so cool when I finished. She is going to love it.

Always thinking of you!

I made this card for a girlfriend of mine. I am always thinking of her. She has had a really ruff time with one of her girls. She has been sick on and off for a few years. Now symptoms are coming back again (nervous!) and so off to the hospital again. To compound it she is a fellow scrap and stamp girl and her house was broken into and they stole all kinds of stuff including her camera and lenses, memories, and hubbys wedding ring. so sad... anyways she has a great attitude about it. I say glad it wasn't a home invasion when you all were there. We had an aweful one a few months ago the Pettit family in Chesire, CT They killed the mom and two kids and tried to the father but he made it. I would want to die if my family was wiped out. anyways she has a great outlook on things. and I am glad that she wasn't home at the time. So, I am thinking of you girl.

Dishing the Dirt!

This was a great inspiration to gardening. I have been working really had on my gardens this year. I do have to say that I haven't really enjoyed them because the rain had made them come and go really fast. It does look cool that there is something blooming and makes for interesting colors. I also had some great inspiration from one of the blogs that I surf. I do get some really great ideas, paper combos, and layouts from them.

Pretty as a Picture

I made this card especially for the weekend challenge but when I put it on SCS I totally forgot to put in the code WSC51. I am so distracted because of those birds. I can't believe it. Probally because I am a Mom and it's like a home invasion and Poof! your whole family is gone. Its so sad. SO,Not thinking this morning just getting therapy through stamping.
Recipe
Stamp Set: Close as a Memory, Small Script

Accessories: Hole punch, brown brads, pop dots, nesties, red ribbon, glitter system copper glitter, Su! mkrs- barouque burg., more mustard, old olive, mellow moss, sponge

Inks: TH vintage photo, choc. chip
Paper: DP- Wild Asparagus, Karen Foster, Real Red, Vanilla

Oh So Sad!

Awwww! I am so sad today. We have a birdhouse at the end of our stairs in a garden with chickadee's and something got in there and killed the parents and 7 babies. I am so upset. They were so innocent and we were so excited that they were so close to our house and not afraid of us right in the walking path to be hatching babies. We would watch the progress daily. I decided to make this sympathy card. So true, Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Recipe:
Stamps: Clear stamp of an unknown bird, and the saying is from Close as a Memory.
Accessories. Corner punches and ticket punch, blue ribbon, Prism glitter, glue pen, chatterbox snap on paper-crafting fasteners. pop dots, copic mkrs
Inks: Terra Cotta, Choc. Chip
Paper: Designer paper scraps and bashful blue

Don's Iris

My DH husband's brother gave this iris to us a few years ago. He is a real Iris person. I have to say that his gardens are amazing. The next time I am at his house I will take some pcx and show you all. Don has love iris for many years. He has so many pictures of iris, magnets, statues. Get the drift that he likes them a little. It looks so cool in the yard with all of them out.

Light bluish, lavender iris

wow how beautiful! Amazing nature

The Iris in Bloom

I recently went to Vermont with one of my great friends... She had never been on a scrapbook retreat. Well this was the perfect opportunity for her to get her feet wet with going on the road. We had an awesome time. We will be going again in October... Prime peeping and picture time. Anyways, While I was gone. My iris's in my yard are opening like popcorn.. Oh my Gosh! are they beautiful. So intricate, beautiful, strong, just amazing plant. I did take a few pcx of them for you all to see. they are also the very big one. (huge in my book) do you like?
