Happy Birthday Mom!


I just finished this card for my Mother in Law. Her birthday is next week. She is absolutely GAGA over sunflowers. I know that she will love it. Her hubs and sons want to surprise her for her big day. She is very difficult to pull one over on. Best of luck Boys in doing that. She is in tuned to everyone feelings and she is so going to pick up on anything out of the ordinary and esp plotting the big deal.. Staytuned for that saga.

It's Tool Time


This is my Father's day card for my DH. He is going to be working from home in the fall. So he has been working very hard in his barn setting up shop. So, He still needs a few things to get started. I thought that getting his toolbox from Sears would be a grrrrreat thing for him Hence this card. Inside is the Craftsman logo and the pcx of what he wants (don't think I'll have time for the gift card) we'll see. Maybe I can get there before FD. I made the shirt card for my Father in law. That came out very nice too. Boy does that look real.

Take a deep Breath!


One of the girls at work is having a difficult time. She is very stressed out in her job and wants to quit. Also the stress of trying to sell her house and get that ready has made her have a really bad few days. I thought that I would make her this card and pretty much says it all. I hope it works.

I just had to show you how popped this card is. Just gordious for my cousins daughter's graduation. I don't know if she'll appreciate the hard word of making this card and all I can hope is that she thinks its really cool and would want to save it. The bling is cool too. I hope you like it too.

I just finished my card for Angie. I feel so terrible that her husband died. He was a great man. He was a teacher in Old Saybrook. How sad. They still don't know why.

I have the crazy bug to make roses. I do have to make a sympathy card. Emily's teacher's husband died. They don't know why and he's so young ( in his 40's) and they have 3 kids under 10.. twins too. My heart goes out to her and her family. A card will follow... so stay tuned.

I took a class this week with Mitra from Impression Obsession. We worked with the background stamps. What fun did I have. I have to start looking outside the box. I really want to learn to distress and change things but still look classy. Mitra really explained that theory and made it really fun to play with her backgrounds.
